December 3, 2019 – Goleta, CA/Philadelphia, PA: HOKA ONE ONE®, a division of Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK), has announced a partnership and $30,000 donation to Back on My Feet, a national nonprofit organization committed to addressing homelessness. The $30,000 donation will go directly to supporting Back On My Feet members (those experiencing homelessness or living in addiction and treatment facilities), and in 2020 HOKA will donate over 500 pairs of shoes and help with shoe fitting and runs in 13 cities with Back On My Feet Chapters across the country.
Back on My Feet combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources in 13 cities across the country. They believe in the power of human potential, supporting members as they run, build resumes, attend training classes, and ultimately attain sustainable employment, utilizing they organization’s network of program and employment partners across the country.

HOKA’s $30,000 donation will support Back on My Feet’s program, which uses running as catalyst to build community, supporting members as they run a few blocks or a few miles, three days a week at 5:45am in 13 cities across the US. With 90% attendance, members gain to the next phase of the program, Next Steps. Still running in the morning and maintaining consistent attendance, members now work one-on-one with Back on My Feet staff to move towards sustainable employment. Financial literacy classes, computer literacy classes, resume building workshops and more, along with access to financial aid to pay for public transportation cards, enrollment fees or books for trade school, or providing a security deposit for a new home, all enable members to move their lives forward, ultimately reaching sustainable employment and financial independence.
