Baltimore Volunteer Featured in GoDaddy Series

Baltimore volunteer, Susan Clayton, is a runner and business owner who was featured in a GoDaddy series about entrepreneurs for her invention.

Back on My Feet Baltimore volunteer Susan Clayton is a business owner and experienced runner. Her business, WhitePaws RunMitts offers a unique product designed with runners in mind.

Susan was featured in the GoDaddy series Made in America, in a season highlighting Baltimore entrepreneurs. In an episode, she explains that she was inspired to invent running mittens because of how cold her fingers would be after Back on My Feet runs during the winter. Susan’s patented mittens feature a thumbless design that holds the wearer’s fingers and thumbs together to keep them warm. The mittens keep the wearer warm but are convertible to allow them to cool off their fingers when needed.

Susan says that Back on My Feet is meaningful because it ensures “nobody runs alone,” emphasizing the importance of community.

From her perspective, “I’m out here running with everybody else, and we’re all equal.”
