At Back on My Feet, we know the power of togetherness creates real and lasting change. That’s why our volunteers are central to our members’ success and the shared impact we have on how our communities support each other.
As a volunteer, you’ll be empowering people living in homeless shelters or addiction facilities to take back control of their lives.
Through fitness, personal development, and shared experiences, you’ll help our members gain confidence, skills, and employment opportunities.
Together, we’re a movement for change.
Come out 1-3 times a week to run, jog, or walk 1-4 miles with our members. You'll help keep our community vibrant and growing while encouraging our members and each other.
Get matched with a member to share your knowledge on interview skills, resume building, and other workforce development opportunities to further their individual employment goals.
Attend corporate and community events to share our mission and to recruit volunteers. You can also organize events, races, social outings, and more
Share your expertise to help our members overcome barriers such as criminal justice system involvement, credit issues, addiction, mental health struggles, among others.
